Today was a SCORCHER in Sydney, it was definitely too hot for pants and tight clothes so thank goodness for my SS14 love for culottes and oversized tops. As culottes become more of a hot commodity this season, I've been finding it hard to find an affordable new line (and even vintage) pair. Y'all know how I'm like when I see a matching set - it's an instant MUST HAVE IT moment, especially when it comes to Ruby Sees All. It's slowly emerging as one of my favourite Auslabels and I can't wait to see more of whats to come for SS14. The weather is warming up over here and I'm excited for skirts, crops and summer capes.

On another note, I also finally found my mules! I fell in love with ZARA's mules earlier this year but was a few days too late and the shoe was nowhere to be found. Then one day as I was scrolling through The Iconic I noticed a similar pair by Therapy Shoes for a fraction of the price, gosh I love a good bargain! The Iconic stock brands such as Therapy and Spurr that have shoes starting from $20 which is utterly amazing, if you haven't had a browse yet I would highly recommend it if you're always after a bargain like me :)

It was so wonderful to see the sun last weekend, a gentle reminder that Spring is just around the corner and I couldn't wait to put on a midi dress without needing my stockings so as you can see - super happy to take this dress out for a whirl! It's a gorgeous scuba-like material which is perfect for gals on the go with little time to iron or steam and its a great length for work and play. Shoulders can be worn up for the more formal occasions and pulled down for the less formal occasions or a special date ;)

The Outfit 
I've been totally obsessed with cropped halters and fedoras but wearing them in this weather would be like inviting a cold over for dinner... every night... for about 2 weeks...and I'm just not prepared for that! I've been looking for the perfect boyfriend-fit coat since last winter and I haven't been able to find one to fit my height so I was pretty surprised to find that this was the perfect fit and the perfect length. The fact that its super comfy is definitely a super bonus ;)

The Bag 
I've got way too many big bulky bags and not enough casual bags like this Givenchy Pandora Bag in black. I picked up this gorgeous thing from Reebonz on Sunday at their Sydney Concept store on George St - it was also available in grey, maroon and navy but black was definitely my first pick.

I love popping by the Reebonz store, it's the one stop shop for my favourite designer labels under one roof - Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Celine, Hermes and Chanel just to name a few. It's also the only store that I know of selling genuine pre-loved designer bags. If you're ever in the CBD you should definitely pop by!
