Sometimes I wonder when it would be the right time to let the postman know that I consider him as a part of my close circle of friends hahahaha yesterday afternoon he popped by to give me my Shopbop package with my sunburst ring inside. I was ecstatic!

If you've been following my formspring you might have noticed that I've also been swooning over a pair of Topshop's Wisteria Chiffon tie wedges and if you're loving them as much as I am, what I'm about to say may cause you to froth at the mouth from excitement (because I know I nearly did! Hahaha)

Today, I tried on an exact pair of Chiffon tie wedges at ZU in Parramatta which are retailing for only $140RRP! Isn't your mouth just about ready to froth now! Hahaha They had both the nude and the black pair and they were... nothing short of amazing.

Unfortunately for me, I have trips to save for at the end of the year as well as a few pair of wedges at home and although they're not as beautiful as the chiffon tie wedges, I've still yet to make use of them so investing in another pair probably wouldn't be a wise decision. Having to put them down and walk away was really...really...hard :'( So if any of you decide to buy them, I will gladly live vicariously through you.

Bardot has placed further reductions on most of the sale stock which fortunately for us brings this top (along with many other things!) down to a teeny tiny $20.....unfortunately for me, it also means that I have to risk losing my sanity every shift to clear up that dreaded sales corner! and for those who have been requesting an updated picture of my makeup collection, here I present you the reason why I am on a Project 10 Pan. I'm not going to deny that I had to clear a lot of rubbish off my desk before I took it... and yes I'm very aware that my foot, pajama pants and pink bathrobe are also in the background - obviously I've had an eventful Monday afternoon hahaha

My next final assessment is due next week so I'm not going to make any promises but I will say that I'm definitely planning to add more things to ANNIEPOPSHOP soon. I've spent the last 72hours completing an essay so chances are, you're going to want the next 10minutes of your life back - don't say I didn't warn you.

First of all, Bardot decided to get rid of our staff uniform and now we're back to wearing current stock while we work... even though this meant that I had to involuntarily splurge this week (which also pulled me into a splurging spiral :(!) I admit that I'd much rather slip into a silk maxi than a pair of skinny jeans for work. Now all that's left to do is for me to figure out how to not trip over myself when I'm climbing ladders..

So last week while I was studying in the quiet area at uni, it started to get a bit hot so I took my scarf off and left it on the table next to me. Before I knew it, it was time to head to class so I hurriedly packed my things and left the room.

Halfway through my tutorial the air conditioner was starting to give me chills and I realized that I had left my scarf behind. I walked out of class, went back to the quiet area but it had dissapeared and nothing had been handed in at the information desk. On this fateful day, I parted with my scarf. The staple scarf that kept me warm all through winter.

A couple of days later Jermz had made a booking for us to eat at De Vine where he gave me a little gift to open...and of course, inside is the softest and warmest cashmere Giant Check scarf in the colour Trench, from Burberry. My favourite.

Although it's an underserved gift (especially considering that it was my own fault I had lost my last scarf) it's such a thoughtful gift and I'm definitely not going to lose this one.

At the risk of embarrassing him - he's the sweetest and I couldn't be more thankful (: hahaha

Speaking of sweet things, these were the sinful treats I made the other week...and my thighs will be sorry for this! :(
