A few weeks ago, Kimberly and I had a spontaneous day at the park with her camera. The last time we did something like this would have been nearly two years ago, can you believe it! I admit that it's been so long since I've been photographed outdoors and around actual human beings that it was hard for me to shake out of my awkwardness. I'm lucky Kimb has a good eye so we managed to get some pictures I could still use for today's blog post haha

And for those that follow my Facebook fanpage, last month I finally committed to buying myself the Crystal Accented Chronograph watch. All through the beginning of the year I've been at war with myself on whether or not to get the gold or rose gold, so I had a poll put up on my fan page and the majority of you convinced me to get the rose gold. Couldn't be happier with my decision, thank you for those that helped me decide :)

I had a lot of fun doing a photoshoot with the ever so amazing Marcus Lim and Nina Nguyen yesterday. I only have a few of the unedited images so I'll have to wait for the photogs to work their magic on the pictures before I post up some more but working with them is always worth the partial blindness hahaha

In other news, my banana pudding is a working progress haha my caramel sauce was a bit burnt but at least the whipped cream and pudding turned out okay. Like they say, practice makes perfect! Or in my case, a great deal of practice usually makes perfect hahaha

In the valley

I think it's about time I turn over a new leaf. As of late my entries lack all substance and consistency ... to be honest the two or three entries I've been posting a month have all been due to procrastination and not much else. In a little over three weeks I'll be free of exams and I'll have time for more outfit posts, perhaps a tutorial here and there and more photos taken outdoors (even if the weather forbids it!) It might not be a valuable contribution to society but I miss how my blog used to be.

What a kickstart to my Tuesday. I woke up half an hour before class and I live an hour away from uni, I made a speedy exit from home and presented infront of a student body with my daggy stockings, bed hair and no makeup .... and for that brief moment, I wished everybody grew cataracts to cloud their eyes. I'm terrible, I know :(

Monday was eventful though, I helped my friend Kimberly with her photoshoot project which was also a great chance to finally showcase the DIY hand and body chains I've made :) the weather could have been kinder to us though!

Here were the materials I used to make my hand and body chains. Silver chain from Spotlight and mum's jewellery pliers. My mum makes jewellery as a side hobby and she puts me to shame! haha if this post wasn't so photo heavy I'd upload some of her little creations but I'll save that for next post :)

And to top it off, another haul. Boy is this one hell of an entry or what! Sick of me yet? :)

I mentioned a couple of times in the vid that I'd put pictures up on my blog but I haven't had the chance to snap them in the daylight yet so - will do next post! It also seems that my photobucket bandwidth has expired, piccies will be up and refreshed in about 30 or so days but for the time being I get ugly exceeded bandwidth banners. BOO!

She can talk?!

So I promised a housekeeping entry this time and I lied. Well at least it was a half lie, I got around to responding to some very few requests on a room tour video and I guess I finally plucked up the courage to do one.

I feel very exposed, with my annoying voice and mannerisms - this is why I always thought I'd never make a video, it's far too intimate. I don't have an extroadinary room and an amazing makeup collection but everything is a working progress I guess hehehe.

So let me know how you feel about it. Like it and would like to see more? Hate it and think I should never make a youtube clip again? I'll appreciate your honest opinions! :)

I don't think I value my room enough, it's small, ugly and I take really bad care of it. When I'm done using things I usually just shove them in the next nook and cranny I see so making this video was quite intimidating for me.

OH! I can not believe I haven't mentioned this yet - I am in love with the movie UP! I watched it last week with Paul and I've been raving about it to just about anyone and everyone, it's definitely up there as my favourite pixar movie of all time.

Today I'm also feeling sort of nostalgic, in memory of my old domain and just to tjuz this place up a bit, here are some snippets from my old blog.
