Extended trading hours commenced this week as well as our $30 sale on dresses and a whole lot of pizzazz in the sales rack so drop by Bardot and join the hussle and bussle! Gosh, I've turned into a retail spruikazilla!

And when it's busy it means more work outfits which probably will make do for any hauls from now on.. buying clothes from the store means doubling them as work outfits and now I find myself passing shops that I'd normally enter (urgh, such a sacrifice!). I haven't had the urge to buy things but I find myself having to for the sake of work, which sounds like a pleasure but sometimes - it's a pain ($$$)!

Why hello fellow Annie! No I've never had braces before but I think I might need them in the near future :( my front teeth on the bottom row are being pushed inwards by the sneaky little wisdom teeth that will soon be peering from the tiny space left on my gums. Gah, dreading their arrival!

Hello Anonymous :) the black Pretty Punk top is actually one top, the singlet inside was mine so I'm sorry for the misleading picture! I've reposted pictures of it with all the prices and yes I do get a discount on the clothes (but not as much as the full-timers, if only!)

Funny thing is I was just about to post up a question asking for xmas pressie ideas for the boyf! I had a plan to save up for things he really wanted and used, like part of his home entertainment system. But he's bought his own and it's better than what I could've given him - so that idea has gone down the gutter! He has said he wants a few things from IKEA, even though he thinks I won't be able to afford the things he wants I'm willing to cash in my next few paycheques and if anything get him a belated pressie - one that he'll make use of! Last year I got him a DVD player, the three seasons of Family Guy he didn't have and a Mossimo belt. Other pressies I've given him has just been things like Lacoste shoes, belts, jackets, shirts, Nintendo DS - guy presents are so difficult! This year I'm clueless :(

Seeing double

Micro mesh dress (American Apparel), DIY cut out fitted bandeau (inspired by thehautepursuit) , Laspampas Suede Lace Booties (C De C)

Nina, Tammy and I took a detour and stopped by American Apparel on our way back to the station after Jimmy's exhibition and I was over the moon to finally have hold of the longsleeved mesh dress! I cut out an old bandeau I had lying around to wear underneath but I'm not sure how confident I am sporting these cut outs in public, I'd probably take it out with a long fitted bandeau instead - just to play it safe! haha

Last night was Wendy's birthday. I met Wendy briefly last year for a group assignment and in this passing year we've worked at the last two places together, attended the same interviews, shared the same classes, group assignments and missed some of our exams together (then passed eachother notes in our alternate exam LOL) and as of last night I can also add - peer pressured amelia to drink together - to our list of a blossoming friendship hahaha!

I've taken my camera out on both occassions this week but it hasn't been a photogenic week, maybe I'll leave them for my facebook's eyes only haha, hope everyone had a great weekend!

I also wanted to quickly fit in here a little thankyou to Kelly giving me the Star Award, definitely check her blog out! She's got killer style and oh, did I mention she's also stunningly gorgeous! Hahaha

And with all that aside it's been getting rather dusty in here, time for some more housekeeping! Looks like my collective haul entry will be delayed until next entry, which will probably be excrutiatingly long. The girls and I have recently been getting a rush from nail polish splurging hahaha

I bought my UDPP from ebay, I would also wish to know where on earth they stock Urban Decay in Sydney :( and my falsies are also from Vietnam! hahaha, we often have relatives that travel back and forth from there to get them for us in cheap bulk but if you wanted to restock on them, last time I saw cheap false lashes they were in a store in Cabramatta that also sold hair products. I have no idea what it's called, but definitely pop in and out of Cabra stores and I'm sure you'll be able to find them! Industrie8 also have decent cheap falsies, if anyone has any suggestions then leave them in the comment box :)

Anonymous: Where can you buy NYX? and what do you think of each the MAC studio fix & studio tech foundations?:)
In some places in Aus they sell NYX in Gloss stores but I haven't seen NYX in any Gloss stores in Sydney so far :( the place where I get NYX things from is a small local perfume and hair wholesaler which name has escaped me but it was first introduced to me by my great friend Tammy hahaha. I've done a lot of searches for good cosmetics wholesalers online and contacted a few stores but most of them don't sell to the general public and in these cases I settle for purchasing things I can't find locally online. Will also do a review on MAC studio fix & tech foundations!

lolizzie: i noticed you used the clean and clear pimple pen, does it work for you?
To be honest, it isn't a great deal of help to clear my pimples - even toothpaste works better haha

Anonymous: Hi What do you use MAC MSF's for and what do you think of the Shiseido cream foundation/other Shisheido foundations? If you hold your hair back when doing makeup, doesnt it ruin your hair?
I'll make sure to do a vid on the MAC MSF's, I'm completely in love with them! As for the Shiseido cream foundation its a pleasant foundation, it does its job well and doesn't dry out my skin but its pretty sheer though and wouldn't work well as a full coverage foundation. The Shiseido Sun Protection Foundation stick from what I've heard has gotten rather good reviews so I might give that a go again - the reason why I was never really fond of it the first time around was because I got it in the wrong colour! haha silly me.

em: Hi Annie,I was just wondering how often you use you LV Vernis Amarante bag?
In all honesty, recently I've hardly used it at all. The top handle is pretty inconvenient considering the bag is quite large and when I do take it out with me it's pretty heavy and I guess my paranoia of the vernis leather getting scratches and stains on it gets in the way of its use too. My mum uses it all the time though, I'm pretty sure she's rightfully claimed her ownership over it hahaha

I think I'll do a review on the fix plus :) But as for a wardrobe vid hmmm, I'm on the fence about that one. My wardrobe is pretty boring to be honest! hahaha

Hahahaha I apologise for the dizzyness and any type of nausea I have caused! I was thinking of selling my things on ebay, I keep saying this over and over again but I never quite get around to it lol I should soon though - I need the extra $$ in my pocket! If I haven't gotten around to selling things on ebay still, I don't think I'd ever get around to setting up a stall in Glebe to sell my things ahhhhh, laziness that great friend of mine haha.

So in my room tour vid I mentioned we had guests over which meant I had first priority to some of the food we were serving, so I took my share of sashimi and oysters before the guests arrived and thoroughly enjoyed my mini seafood feast mmmmm oysters. I'll have you know though that excessive raw seafood gives you severe stomach pains. HAHA

You probably wouldn't be surprised to hear this since I've raved about this so much already but I love NAR's Blush/Bronzer duos! They are fairly dear but well worth the investment, I might do another review post on them but even though I've switched from the Laguna to the Casino (since warm weather is heading our way!) the Laguna/Orgasm duo will always be one of my favourites.

I don't know a fair lot about blushes, MAC blushes have done their job fine for me but cheaper bronzers that I'd definitely reccomend are the Cargo Bronzer, Benefit Hoola and the Physician's Formula Baked Pyramid Bronzer (Physician's formula have a lot of beautiful cheap bronzers! you'll be able to find them in drugstores, Priceline and Gloss).

Yes I think I was at wetherill that day, I don't exactly remember which day but I was in the area sometime last week. I was most likely using Benefit High Beam that day!

t: best undereye concealer?
You can probably see from my room tour vid that I don't own a lot of concealers and my skin is fairly dry so if your skin is combination/oily then it probably wouldn't react well to the ones I reccomend. Though, a lot of people with combination/oily skin love MAC's studio fix concealer, butit was very drying under my eyes and even on the blemishes on my face causing it to flake :( so I use liquid concealers. I really like Revlon Colorstay concealer and Physician's Formula concealer twin, and I hope that was helpful in some way or another!

person: for your nars stuff; is buying it on mecca cheaper then buying it in store? whats nars stuff do you have? could you do a review on each?
Unfortunately buying NARS products on the mecca website online costs the same amount as buying them at the mecca counter in store :( I don't have a lot of NARS products but I'll make a review on them :)

Hello! I actually purchased it at mecca and then went and ordered a back-up of it from ebay since it was a lot cheaper. However, when I recieved my package the casing was identical but the pan inside was a bit thicker around the edges and the colouring was about one or two shades lighter. So I did research online and realized that a lot of the stockists on ebay are selling counterfeit NARS products, most of the copycats are quite noticeable but the one I recieved, without opening it, looked very convincing! Scary!

Haha I actually remember when I purchased that top! Yes it was oversized as well and I bought it during boxing day sales for $20!
