Probably not the most flattering angle of my feet but on a hot day like this, that's as far as I'm willing to go outside. In preparation for Chinese New Year it's been all hustle and bustle this week at the Nguyen residence. The house has been cleaned, the flower plants are decorated with red envelopes and downstairs smells like a weirdly pleasant mix of incense and Chinese food.

The first time I saw a pair of High Waisted Chloe Scalloped Shorts it sent me into a scalloped coma. I now want everything scalloped - blazers, shorts, shirts... I've even tossed around the idea of cutting a scalloped hem into everything myself! Hahaha and after spotting a particular pair of simple scalloped bottoms here and here... I couldn't be more convinced that I needed these shorts in my life.

I finally found the perfect pair from Queenswardrobe and although the sizes for the shorts run a little big, the colour and hem were exactly what I was looking for and the shipping was amazingly fast! Unfortunately for my savings account.. now after that hurdle I'm also wanting their Wave Wing Collar blazer and surprisingly enough Bardot just got in a Scalloped Blazer this week!

Sometimes I wonder when it would be the right time to let the postman know that I consider him as a part of my close circle of friends hahahaha yesterday afternoon he popped by to give me my Shopbop package with my sunburst ring inside. I was ecstatic!

If you've been following my formspring you might have noticed that I've also been swooning over a pair of Topshop's Wisteria Chiffon tie wedges and if you're loving them as much as I am, what I'm about to say may cause you to froth at the mouth from excitement (because I know I nearly did! Hahaha)

Today, I tried on an exact pair of Chiffon tie wedges at ZU in Parramatta which are retailing for only $140RRP! Isn't your mouth just about ready to froth now! Hahaha They had both the nude and the black pair and they were... nothing short of amazing.

Unfortunately for me, I have trips to save for at the end of the year as well as a few pair of wedges at home and although they're not as beautiful as the chiffon tie wedges, I've still yet to make use of them so investing in another pair probably wouldn't be a wise decision. Having to put them down and walk away was really...really...hard :'( So if any of you decide to buy them, I will gladly live vicariously through you.
